Per the Book of Genesis, Chapter 1, Verse 29 man was told what food would be "meat" for humankind, "And God said Behold I have given you every herb bearing seed upon the earth, and all trees that have in themselves seed of their own kind, to be your meat:"

To be your "meat" per the Douay-Rheims, Latin Vulgate Old Testament Bible.

Before the first cases of meat-related parasitic illnesses, heart disease, clogged arteries and high cholesterol it was written in the Gospel of Peace and the Gospel of the Holy Twelve that whoso eats the flesh of slain beasts, eats the body of death.

The Second Book of Enoch instructed mankind not to eat the flesh of beasts for it was linked to their souls and what is the main meat staple of the human diet? Beasts.

Jamaican Seitan Patties

Recipe

Mix together in a mixing bowl the following:

One cup of Wheat Gluten Flour
One half a cup of Stone Wheat Flour
One third cup of Sadaf Falafel Mix
One tablespoon of Jamaican Spicy Curry Powder (Walker's Wood is a good one)
Two teaspoons of Ginger Powder
One teaspoon of Salt (Season to taste)

Now, set this aside and gather the following vegetables:

Two Carrots
One Potato
One Sweet Yellow Onion (Vidalia is recommended)
Two Small Cloves of Garlic
Several Fresh Basil Leaves
(You may want to increase or decease the portions according to your need)

Using a Counter Mincer (Pedrini Universal Mincer works well) mince these items then set aside.

To your dry ingredients, add a half cup of water then mix your dough together as though you are making a loaf of bread. Add water as needed. Once your dough is mixed, set it aside and let it rest for about 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, take your minced vegetables and with your hands, knead the dough and vegetables together.

Then create small to medium loaves with the mixture, then once loaves are shaped, allow them to rest as you prepare the next step.

In a medium-sized pot or rice-cooker, fill 3/4 of the pot with water, heat to boiling then add your shaped seitan loaves.

Let boil for about 20 to 30 minutes then allow to cool.

Remove loaves from pot, place in a covered glass dish to store and for later meal preparation.

Refrigerate for at least two to three hours, then as needed for your patties, remove a loaf, slice to desired size, using a sauce pan (I prefer a cast iron skillet, the taste is better) brown in two tablespoons of Olive Oil and one teaspoon of Coconut Oil.

These patties are delicious by themselves, with side vegetables and I'm sure that my chefs out there can find a few other ways to prepare and present this recipe.
On the 2nd Day after having made the above-shown recipe, this batch of seitan was used to create a delicious, italian pasta dish.
